There is no single Next.js hosting price. A static site with light traffic and a dynamic commerce application have different compute, transfer, storage, and reliability requirements.
Separate the bill into layers
Start with baseline compute and memory. Add outbound transfer, CDN delivery, image transformations, build execution, artifact and object storage, databases, logs, metrics, backups, and support. Managed platforms may bundle some categories and meter others; infrastructure providers usually expose raw resources while leaving the platform work to you.
Price the operating model
A server invoice is not total cost. Include security updates, deploy maintenance, alert response, capacity planning, backup tests, and incident recovery. Managed hosting can be economical when it removes more labor than its premium costs. Self-hosting can be economical when workloads are steady and operations are standardized.
Compare with one workload
Record monthly requests, transfer, image work, build frequency, peak memory, regions, storage growth, and availability needs. Price that same workload under each model, include a reasonable growth case, and document excluded services. Recheck dated pricing before a purchasing decision.
